Plumbing Permit Fee List

The Plumbing, Gas and Mechanical Division enforces the 2003 Edition of the International Plumbing Code, 2003 International Fuel Gas Code and the 2003 International Mechanical Code. These respective codes have been duly adopted and are aimed at protecting public life, health and welfare.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PLUMBING PERMITS

Plumbing Permits: A current certification as a Master Plumber from the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board is required to obtain a City of Montgomery plumbing license.
