Replace an existing handicap space
Replace an existing handicap space
Traffic Engineering only replaces existing handicap spaces on City property and public streets. Handicapped parking spaces require only the standard sign. If other nearby parking spaces are marked, Traffic Engineering will determine if pavement markings or curb markings are needed and places these devices when needed on public streets and City property. Private entities are not to place sign or markings on public property. The property owner is responsible for installing and maintaining the signs and pavement markings necessary for any off-street parking space.
