• Traffic Engineering informs the power provider that a street light was reported to be not working. The power providers in Montgomery are Alabama Power Company and Dixie Electric. It is helpful if the requester can identify the power provider in the area of the request. It is also helpful for the caller to provide the street address or utility pole number. It usually takes two to twelve weeks for the repair to be made depending on the workload of the power provider.
