Mosquito Spraying and Larvacide

The Mosquito Spraying season starts during the first full week of April and continues through the end of October.  If the Fall Season is unusually warm, we may continue to spray a couple of weeks longer.  Spraying hours are from 8:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays we put larvacide (an insecticide) in areas of standing water to kill mosquito larva.  Every area is sprayed once a week.  Rainy weather will delay the spraying schedule.  We are no longer spraying County areas.  The County maintains their own mosquito program.
