We will grind stumps located within the street right of way from trees that were removed by the City of Montgomery. The stump grinding is contracted out to a private contractor on a scheduled basis, contingent on the availability of funds.

Submit request to 311. The request is inspected and appropriate action is determined. If deemed to be city responsibility, the location is added to the list for the next round of stump grinding, contingent on the availability of funds.Urban Forestry coordinates with Street Maintenance Dept. to secure bid(s) for stump grinding. Contractor completes all stump grinding work.
