Construction Building Codes and Ordinances

Building Permit Required

 

Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit.

 

BUILDING INSPECTIONS

The Building Inspection Division’s purpose is to preserve and promote the health, safety and welfare of the public through the regulation of the built environment with codes and standards as developed and adopted by the City of Montgomery.
